In the conditions of the Coronavirus pandemic, WHO recommends basic protection in the form of handprints as often as possible. This step is prioritized by WHO because washing hands regularly and thoroughly can kill the virus on our hands. Washing your hand regularly can protect you from dangerous bacteria, germs, dirt, and even virus that might harm your health. Follow these simple steps to clean your hands properly.
1. Go to the bathroom or to the closest sink where you can find clean and running water.
2. Turn on the tap and wet your hands with the running water (you can use warm or cold water).
3. Turn off the tap and Pour enough soap on the palms, to cover the entire surface of the hands.
4. Rub your palms together with the soap.
5. Rub the backs of your hands and between your fingers.
6. Rub the backs of your fingers with your fingers interlocked.
7. Grasp and wash your thumb in a circular position.
8. Rub the fingertips against the palms of the hands, so that the nails are exposed to soap.
9. Keep on scrubbing for at least 20 seconds.
10. Turn on the tap once more and rinse your hands with the clean water (make sure no more lather remains on your hand).
11. Dry your hands using some tissue or clean towel.
12. Your hand is now clean and free of germs.
